Norway's most famous surf bay — a long white-sand beach at the foot of a glacial valley flanked by 400 m cliffs on the west coast of Stadlandet. Beginner-friendly lefts and rights over sand make it the country's surf-school hub; mellow in summer, bigger and more serious in autumn/winter, surfable year-round. The final descent is the famous hairpin road down the valley wall.
