Vigsø Surf Guide
A wide, north-facing bay at the eastern end of Cold Hawaii where dozens of Atlantic Wall bunkers are slowly sinking into the sea, giving structure to an otherwise sandy bay. An uncrowded backup that varies a lot with wind — as much windsurf/wing terrain as dedicated surf.
Ability Level
Intermediate
Adventurous intermediates wanting an empty lineup on NE-N swell days; beginners should stay near the sheltered inner bay.
Break Type
Beach break
Local Hazard
Submerged and beach-level concrete bunkers with exposed edges; water deepens quickly off the shoreline; isolated with no facilities beyond the car park.
