Agger Surf Guide
A long groyne-sectioned beach at the southern end of Cold Hawaii, working from hip-high to well overhead with lefts and rights that migrate with the sand. Drive the stretch from De Sorte Huse (the Black Houses) to the piers south of town and pick your peak — emptier and more road-trip- feeling than the Klitmøller core.
Ability Level
Intermediate
Best for solid intermediates and up most days; beginners only on small clean days well away from the groynes.
Break Type
Beach break
Local Hazard
Strong currents, a heavy shore break (especially at the big pier), rocks around the groynes, and banks that shift constantly.
