Cold Hawaii's second surf town and its most reliable wave — the Big Pier's long jetty grooms a long left and blocks wind, so it works in almost any wind if there is swell. Sub-spots fan out around it: the Bay/Underdogs to the north, the mellow Small Pier surf-school zone just south, and the expert-only South Side slab.
